This policy explains how Bearwerks, LLC handles information connected with bearwerks.com and company correspondence. It does not replace the privacy policies for our apps. For Gearwerks, including launch updates and app support, visit the Gearwerks Privacy Policy.

When you email us, we receive your email address, your message, any name you provide, and any attachments or other information you choose to include. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, handle company matters, and maintain relevant records. Please send only what is needed for your request.

Company contact links open your chosen email service. Your email provider processes your message under its own terms and privacy practices. Contacting the company does not sign you up for Gearwerks launch emails.

Our hosting and security services process technical information to deliver the website, investigate errors, and protect against misuse. This can include IP addresses, requested pages, request times, browser and device information, and security events.

GoDaddy provides website hosting and hosts our company email accounts. Its handling of information is described in the GoDaddy Privacy Notice.

The website uses Cloudflare Turnstile for automated-abuse prevention. The service may load even on pages without a visible form. Cloudflare processes technical signals, including browser and connection information, for security and bot detection. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

The website uses WordPress and Divi. Administrator sign-in and site settings can involve cookies. Security services and browser features can also involve cookies or other browser storage, depending on the functions used and verification conditions. This website should not be understood as a service that processes no technical information.

Divi may load font files from Google’s font servers. When that happens, your browser connects to Google and sends technical request information, including your IP address and browser information. See Google’s information about privacy and Google Fonts.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Restricting cookies or other storage can affect administrator sign-in or security functions.

Gearwerks.app has its own launch-update forms, support services, and product policies. Following a link to that website is different from supplying information to this company website. Review its policy before submitting information there. Other external websites and services also have their own privacy practices.

The candle care and safety archive on bearwerks.com is informational. It is not a current candle store, checkout, or order form.

Hosting, security, and email providers process information as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose relevant information where required by law or reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect people or systems, or establish or defend legal claims, subject to applicable restrictions.

We keep correspondence and related records for the time needed to respond, handle the relevant company matter, and meet applicable legal or security requirements. Provider logs and backup copies follow the relevant provider’s retention and backup processes. Removing an active record does not necessarily remove every provider backup at the same time. Information collected under an earlier policy remains subject to the retention commitments made when it was collected.

Contact privacy@bearwerks.com with questions about information held by Bearwerks, LLC or to request access, correction, or deletion. We may need proportionate information to locate the relevant records and verify your request. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on the circumstances and law.

This website uses HTTPS. Ordinary email and provider storage involve separate systems and should not be assumed to provide end-to-end encryption. No electronic service can guarantee absolute security.

We will update this policy when our website practices change and provide additional notice where required.
